Fat Rabbit

Fresh, seasonal, local dishes in the heart of Oswestry. A family-run, licensed café. Dog friendly!

Situated at the top of Bailey Street near Oswestry Market Square, Fat Rabbit is the perfect spot for coffee breaks and satisfying lunches in the heart of the town. People-watch during a bustling market day, cozy up on the inside nook tables, or enjoy our lush, sun-dappled decked garden.

We offer a range of vibrant dishes. Whether you choose a yasai gyoza noodle bowl with rich teriyaki sauce and homemade kimchi, a primavera stack with Italian meatballs and our homemade green pesto, or the super crave-able double-decker club sandwich, you can expect an indulgent and fulfilling meal. And that’s not even getting to our fabulous homemade cakes!

As an entirely plant-based establishment, we are always prioritizing the environmental sustainability of our offerings, from our choice of bio-degradable packaging to our choice of ingredients. Working with local producers and suppliers is at the heart of what we do at Fat Rabbit, from the wonderful veg produced by Good Pickings market garden, to our artisan coffee roasted at the Ludlow-based Hundred House Coffee Co. Our walls are often adorned with work by talented local artists.

We are dog-friendly, family-friendly, and cater to a wide range of dietary requirements. So, come along and discover our warm and welcoming market town café!
