Latest Visitor Information

Published on Saturday January 9th, 2021

With England currently in national lockdown, which means we must all stay at home to protect ourselves and others. Accommodation, bars, pubs, cafes and restaurants are closed – but businesses are permitted to offer takeaway and delivery services.

In line with Government guidelines, you must not leave, or be outside of your home except where necessary. You may leave the home for specific reasons, including to exercise with your household (or support bubble) or one other person. This should be limited to once per day, and you should not travel outside your local area.

Staying local means avoiding travelling outside of your village, town or the part of a city where you live – and to look to reduce the number of journeys you make overall.

If Shropshire is your local green space, please remember to respect, protect and enjoy the area and visit responsibly.

We look forward to welcoming you back when it’s safe to do so. For now, please support independent local businesses where possible and plan future trips at visitshropshire.co.uk, so you have something fantastic to look forward.

In the meantime why not browse our things to do and accommodation section to start planning your future visit!
