Arden House Luxury Holiday Apartments

Welcome to Arden House

The perfect place to escape to the country to relax and unwind

Standing at the gateway to Carding Mill Valley, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – Arden House is a haven in the hills offering three luxury holiday apartments. Sleeping from two to six guests, the well-appointed apartments retain the unique character and quality of this outstanding Arts & Crafts country house.

With far reaching views across the surrounding Shropshire Hills – the house is only a short level walk from the centre of the market town of Church Stretton. With ample private parking – Arden House is ideally situated for discovering the delights of Shropshire with the historic towns of Shrewsbury, Ironbridge, Much Wenlock and the renowned food mecca of Ludlow all just 30 minutes away by car or even less by train. All apartments are available for a minimum stay of two nights. Due to the design of the house and gardens, we do not permit dogs. Free WIFI with fast broadband connection is available in all apartments.

We are on-hand, if required, to offer advice on exploring the Shropshire Hills or finding those ‘hidden gems’. Our aim is to make your visit as relaxing as possible and we will be delighted to offer help and advice with planning walks or mountain bike routes, places to visit, restaurant recommendations and bookings. If you have something to celebrate we can help plan an occasion to remember. From golfing to gliding and bike hire to wild swimming – we are happy to help!

We look forward to welcoming you to our home.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
