The School House B&B

Contemporary and stylish, in a converted Victorian school, The School House B&B offers you a choice of three spacious rooms. Along with views of the stunning Shropshire Hills, each of the rooms has a large comfy bed made up with sumptuous Egyptian cotton linens. The en-suite bathrooms have powerful showers with fluffy white towels and bathrobes. One room has a deep double-ended bath.

Within your clean and comfy room you will also find a sofa and flat screen TV together with a tea-tray containing a selection of teas, coffees and some home-baked nibbles. Fresh milk and local water will be in the silent fridge where you can store other drinks.  Wine glasses and a bottle opener are provided.

Breakfast is cooked using some of the best local produce on offer. Our eggs come from just along the valley, our bacon and sausages are from nearby butchers and we make our own veggie sausages. Home-made granola, preserves and freshly-baked bread are always popular with our guests. The spacious breakfast room overlooks idyllic countryside.

The School House is a dog friendly B&B – you are welcome to bring your four legged friend when you stay in our ground floor room. This room has its own private entrance leading out into the garden.

The School House is an ideal base for visiting the best that Shropshire has to offer.  We have a good knowledge of what is happening in this wonderful county as we like to get out and enjoy it ourselves whenever we can. It offers the best of quintessential England. Do come and enjoy it.

Clare, Dave and Molly the dog would love to welcome you for a few days of rest and relaxation.
