The Croft Bridgnorth

The Croft (formerly known as the Croft Hotel) is a family-run, four star B&B in the centre of the historical market town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire. The location is perfect for both business and pleasure with the commercial centres of Telford and Wolverhampton just a short drive away and a vast range of sights to see and outdoor activities in the local area. We are situated in High Town, within a preservation area in one of Bridgnorth’s premier streets. With nearby parking, its unique position allows easy access to the High Street without the immediacy of the hustle and bustle.

The Croft is a delightful 17th Century building which has an enviable reputation for providing high quality accommodation. Within the bed and breakfast, we are pleased to offer 12 individually styled rooms, all furnished to a high standard. The Grade II listed building dates back in parts to Tudor times and is packed with period features. Both the guest lounge and breakfast room have been sympathetically restored with beamed ceilings, inglenook fireplaces and warm, inviting decor.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
