Llanhedric House is a spectacular 17th century country home set in a private estate with total privacy and is available exclusively.
Located in one of the most picturesque parts of the country, there are panoramic views of the rolling South Shropshire hills, which can be enjoyed from the south facing gardens.
This spacious and grand Country House manages to maintain a homely and welcoming ambience. It has 7 elegantly decorated bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. An additional bedroom and 2 bathrooms are available in The Grain Loft next door.
There is plenty of social areas for everyone to enjoy time together, yet space for grownups to enjoy time alone and kids to have the best ever game of ‘hide and seek’. Spend time together at the large bespoke oak table in the dining room which has French doors leading to the garden, gather around the bar or table in the extensive kitchen, or relax on comfy sofas by the wood-burner in the charming lounge.
There is plenty of other fun to be had for all ages. The games room includes a pool table, flat screen TV and sound system, and a second games room is perfect for some friendly competition with table tennis, table football and darts.
The extensive gardens are yours to enjoy, dine alfresco on the outside seating area, play the garden games, or let the children play on the swings or run around in a safe and fun environment. If you want to include a Hot Tub in your stay this can be arranged for you.
Also on the Estate is The Grain Loft, a beautifully restored 400 year old barn. Filled with character, this is a versatile building. It has its own Kitchen and bathrooms and can sleep up to 4 people in an impressive and enchanting bedroom with sheer partition separating the King bed from 2 singles.
The Grain Loft is also a venue registered for marriage ceremonies, radiating romance with its original oak beams which can be adorned with flowers and candles. Downstairs is a spacious room that can be used for a lounge/diner for families but is also perfect for seating groups of up to 60 to dine together.
Llanhedric House can be booked separately for groups of up to 16 or can be booked in conjunction with The Grain Loft to extend the sleeping capacity to 20 or to facilitate larger celebrations, workshops, or weddings.
This is an idyllic Shropshire venue full of history and charm. Overlooking the 11th Century Castle in Clun, footpaths from the doorstep, a vast array of wildlife including Red Kite and Kestrels overhead, and mesmerising star-studded night skies, this will be a truly unique stay.
