Sutton Court House & Holiday Cottages

Sutton Court House and holiday cottages are situated just 5 miles from the beautiful market town of Ludlow in the stunning Shropshire countryside.

We have 6 individual cosy cottages set around our beautiful 16th century farmhouse in a courtyard setting. Offering the perfect accommodation for your holiday in Shropshire throughout the year. Beautifully furnished throughout each cottage has a wealth of oak beams and exposed feature stone walls. Every cottage is supplied with tea, coffee and sugar, fresh ground coffee for the cafetiere, a bowl of fresh fruit, fresh orange juice, bottle of wine and a basket of fresh free range eggs from off our farm. They are all centrally heated, with two of the cottages, Barleycorn and Woodsage, having log burning stoves, logs are provided.

Barleycorn Cottage – sleeping 4. Lovely spacious family cottage, perfect for exploring Shropshire from. Fully equipped kitchen and dining room, separate sitting room with a beautiful log burner, spacious hallway with staircase leading to a large landing/ reading area with a sofa and bookcase, exposed stone walls and exposed beams. Bedroom one has a beaufiful cosy double bed with many exposed beams throughout, bedroom two is a beautiful spacious bedroom with two single beds overlooking our farmland / fields and the surrounding countryside, and from off the landing is the family bathroom with a bath and shower.

Woodsage Cottage – sleeping 6. An ideal family cottage providing 3 bedrooms. Open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room with a beautiful log burner to enjoy. From the kitchen the staircase leads to the first floor with bedroom one having a king size bed, bedroom two having a double bed and bedroom three has twin single beds. There is also the family bathroom with bath and shower located on the first floor. Woodsage cottage is perfect for families and friends to stay in whilst exploring the beautiful county of Shropshire

Sweetbriar cottage – sleeping 4. A beautiful and spacious family cottage providing a wonderful large kitchen and dining room. Lovely sitting room with staircase leading to a very spacious master bedroom with king size bed, the second bedroom has an abundance of beautiful exposed beams with a king size bed and there is also a family bathroom with shower. Sweetbriar cottage is an ideal cottage for your holiday in Shropshire, situated in beautiful open countryside.

Hazelnut Cottage – sleeping 4. A very characterful cottage with a lovely spacious kitchen with dining table, separate sitting room with oak beams and exposed stonework throughout with staircase leading to the first floor. From the landing it leads to the king size bedroom with beautiful oak beams and then the second bedroom with double bed, again this bedroom has wonderful oak beams. Large family bathroom with walk in shower, Hazelnut cottage is ideally suited for a family stay in Shropshire.

Holly Cottage – sleeping 2. The perfect cottage for one or two guests, Holly cottage is set all on one level. A spacious cottage with a large sitting room with dining area and french doors off, opening onto a beautiful private little garden. The kitchen is set just off the main sitting room and overlooks the garden to the rear of the cottage. Holly cottage has a double size bedroom and a spacious bathroom with large walk in shower.

Honeysuckle Cottage – sleeping 2. A gorgeous cottage with access from an external staircase and then it is all on one floor. Open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room with stunning crux beams and exposed stonework throughout. Beautiful king size bedroom with fitted wardrobe, dressing table, chest of drawers. Spacious bathroom with bath and shower. Wonderful for a week or weekend break offering the perfect accommodation for your holiday in south Shropshire at any time of the year.
