Acton Scott Hall

Nestled in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty lies Acton Scott Hall.

For the first time, the Acton family are opening the doors to this timeless gem by offering private group Tours of the house, grounds and gardens. Intricate oak panelling, decorative Jacobean carvings and fascinating heirlooms are all part of what makes Acton Scott Hall unique. In 2020 a self-guided Tree Walk on the estate surrounding the house was mapped out by Andy Gordan, the chairman of the Severn Tree Trust. This walk around the grounds and gardens of Acton Scott Hall is available on specific dates. These new ticketed attractions offer a personal insight into the history and developments of the Acton Scott Hall Estate

In 2021/22 we hope to offer Accommodation at Acton Scott Hall for guests joining our Historic House tours or attending private events. We’re working hard to get this ready for you.

Each season offers its own stunning colours on the Acton Scott Estate, with views over Wenlock Edge and Hope Bowdler Hill. Situated in a Shropshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Acton Scott Hall offers a tranquil and elegant venue for Weddings and Events and Filming – you might have seen the Hall and Estate on the BBC’s hugely popular Victorian Farm series!

We’re very excited about what the future holds and look forward to welcoming you to Acton Scott Hall. For more information, regular updates, photographs and upcoming events please follow us on Facebook and Instagram!
