Shakespearean Bluebell Walk for Macmillan Cancer Support
Step into a world of bluebell bliss and Shakespearean magic!
Join us at Soulton Wood, the inspiration for Shakespeare’s As You Like It, for a special charity bluebell walk in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Wander through this historic woodland, carpeted with vibrant bluebells, and imagine yourself in the Forest of Arden.
Date: Saturday, April 26th Time: 10am – 4pm (Arrive between designated time slots – see below) Location: Soulton Hall, Wem, SY4 5RS
About the Event:
Experience the beauty of spring in a truly unique setting. This family-friendly event offers a chance to explore the stunning bluebell displays at Soulton Wood while supporting a vital cause. Enjoy the fresh air, connect with nature, and help Macmillan continue their invaluable work supporting people affected by cancer.
Timed Walks:
To manage visitor flow and ensure everyone has a pleasant experience, we have three arrival time slots:
- Morning: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Lunchtime: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

- Footwear: Wear sturdy shoes suitable for woodland paths and fields.
- Accessibility: The woodland paths are not suitable for buggies, pushchairs, or wheelchairs.
- Dogs: Dogs are welcome on leads only.
- Parking: Free on-site parking available.
- Refreshments: Refreshments and a plant stall will be available to purchase on-site.
