Meet the Tudors!

Sun-Mon 25-26 August 2024 Meet the Tudors!

Sunday 25th – Bank Holiday Monday 26th August

We have a bumper weekend planned for you, your chance to meet The Tudors!

Despite what you might think, The Tudor Court wasn’t all politics and executions (well for some it might have been!); they also knew how to have some fun, so make a date to come and join us for our unique, fun family-friendly fact-filled shows at Ludlow Castle this August Bank Holiday.

Past-Times Living History will be on hand to entertain, enlighten, and engage with you ALL so do bring along some questions to ask!   Along with three unique performances per day there will be lots of photo opportunities to capture your memories of a brilliant day in the grounds of the beautiful historically important Ludlow Castle.

  • Be ready with your questions for this unique opportunity to quiz Katherine of Aragon on both her husbands!  Was Arthur her one true love or did that Crown belong to Henry – you will have to wait and see!
  • As usual Henry VIII has a big problem (just the one?): which of his wives was his favourite? (Pick any 1 from 6!) Thomas Cromwell has everything under control, and as usual has a cunning plan!
  • As any parent knows, you can’t have a favourite, but Henry isn’t just any parent …. Find out who was No. 1 in Daddy’s eyes?  Who would he like to see succeed him in ‘Whose Crown is it anyway’?

All the entertainment is included within your admission –  plus there is so much to see and explore!

An excellent day out for the whole family
