Off the shelf – a tramp’s diary

Our FREE Off the Shelf talk for September will feature the ‘diary of a tramp and a philosopher’.

This wonderful diary of a walk across Herefordshire and Shropshire in 1867 was purchased at auction through the generous support of the Friends of Shropshire Archives (accession 9786). Archivist Sal Mager has been exploring the diary.
