We’re starting out 2022 season with a special Open House Weekend where we throw our doors open and take you behind the scenes to see how the Severn Valley Railway works! Remember, pre-booked tickets save against tickets purchased on the day. When booking Open House Weekend ticket, select Day Tickets and then either Saturday 2nd or Sunday 3rd April
There’ll be a whole host of things to see, do, discover and explore during our Open House Weekend across the full length of the line including:
- A four train service, with three steam engines and a diesel engine scheduled
- Signal Box tours at Kidderminster and Bewdley
- Brake Van Rides at Highley
- Boilershop and Machining Workshop Tours at Bridgnorth
- Vintage bus services to Eardington Halt to see the station building and the famous lamp room (Sunday only)
- Interactive demonstrations from resident stonemason Philip Chatfield
- Live brass bands on Kidderminster Concourse
Tickets for short hop journeys are available from your local SVR booking office. Full day tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of travel.
