Did you know the Victorians were one of the first to recognise Halloween?
That’s why, this October Half Term, our Victorian townspeople will be celebrating shriek week with lots of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Visitors are invited to wear their best costumes and take part in a costume competition where the best outfit will win a special prize.
Our popular sweep-the-rat competition will return, alongside a chance to create something to take home in our spooky printing shop.
For older children there will be a Gothic Literature Trail while youngsters can take part in a Pumpkin Trail, with prizes for everyone taking part!
Date: Saturday 26 October – Sunday 3 November
Timings: From 10am until 4pm each day
Location: Blists Hill Victorian Town
Hands-on activities and trails are £3 each. No pre-booking required.
