The Wedding Reception Murder Mystery

Hawkstone Hall & Gardens invites you to its very next murder mystery evening The Wedding Reception co-hosted by Murder57! This time round it’s not quite the celebration you would expect from us…

Guests are invited to join elderly, upper-class Bertrum Wallace-Smythe and his young, unsophisticated bride, Zoe Matthews at the evening reception to celebrate their marriage. Not everyone feels like celebrating however. Will these two mismatched families get on – or will their dirty laundry be aired in public?

Your evening at our grade 1 listed manor commences with Prosecco on arrival, shortly before being guided into Hawkstone’s lavish Ballroom Where you will be seated for a delectable 3-course meal prepared by executive chef Andrew Watts and his team.

The interactive murder mystery will then begin, can you solve the crime?

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
