To commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE Day, marking the end of World War II in 1945, Wellington will be celebrating this milestone.

Thursday 8 May, Officially VE Day – The Apley Piper & Wellington Town Crier will kick off the celebrations with a powerful proclamation at 9am in the Market Square.

Saturday 10 May – There will be a day filled with fantastic entertainment for all in Market Square as we come together to honour this historic occasion! ✨
