Shropshire Oktoberfest

Join us under our HUGE marquee in Shrewsbury Quarry for an epic weekend of Oktoberfest fun!

We’ll have something for everyone with over 150+ real ales, ciders, gin, wine, cocktails, and fizz as well as non-alcohol options and soft drinks for the designated drivers.

Outside we’ll have tasty street food, in the shape of classic Oktoberfest sausages, sweet treats, warming burgers and baps and so much more!

It’s not a Shropshire Festivals festival without an epic live music stage filled with hand-picked local musicians sure to get your toes tapping. Our comedy lounge is providing a barrel of laughs for those wanting to sit down and take in some light entertainment. Carpool Karaoke is the place to be for an epic sing along, and our festival favourite, the silent disco is where you’ll find 3 channels of music and some fantastic dance moves!

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
