Explore Carysbyre Bed and Breakfast
Where you can find us
A warm welcome awaits you at Carysbyre where we have two well-appointed rooms one double bed and one king size bed, both with en-suite shower facilities. A sympathetically converted farm building dating from the 1800’s, we have combined as many of it’s original features with modern-day comfort. Guests have exclusive use of the sitting room with a wood burner and also the elegant dining room.
Furnished to a high standard with many antiques and original artwork, our aim is to provide you with a calm and relaxing atmosphere in which to unwind and enjoy your break.
Set in a peaceful location with glorious views over the surrounding countryside but still within easy travelling distance of Shropshire’s hills, market towns, stately homes etc. and also Ironbridge World Heritage Site. Also a perfect place to stay if you would like to walk or cycle along our quiet lanes as well as site-seeing. The Royal Oak is a 15 minute walk away and offers good food and ales as well as claiming to be the oldest pub in Shropshire.
As our local pub only serves food from Wednesday evening to Sunday lunchtime, guests are very welcome to bring food back and use the dining room. I’m more than happy to help with reheating meals if needed.
