Redford Farm Barns

Two luxury boutique self catering barns set in 12 acres of private, open fields near Ludlow, the beautiful market town famous for its outstanding local food. Ludlow Barn sleeps up to 9 people and Tenbury Cottage sleeps 4.  These adjacent barns offer wonderful flexible accommodation. They can be rented separately or together for a party of up to 13 for either weekly lets or short breaks.

Dine together in Ludlow Barn’s gorgeous kitchen or enjoy a summer’s evening cooking al fresco at your very own outdoor kitchen.  Cosy fireside and candlelit dining, drinks and games are also great fun in our neighbouring rustic old stable bar. Get together at Redford Farm Barns and create special memories in the perfect atmosphere for small groups and entertaining.  We are dog friendly to!

“We are proud to say Redford Farm Barns was chosen as the location for Nigella Lawson’s Christmas Special 2017. ”

We are also excited to share with you our beautiful Shepherds Huts set within the privacy of our 6 acre back field at Redford Farm. These huts have been painstakingly designed and built by ourselves and our trusted builders Tony, Simon and Paul. We now have 3 individual huts offering you sleeping, living and bathroom facilities. These huts can either be booked alongside our barns for larger groups or separately for a more private stay.

We designed the Sleeping Hut to be an inviting, cosy space with stunning William Morris wallpaper that gives you truly unique interiors experience. With your wood burning stove and your sumptuous King size bed, this is a delightful space to retreat to – day or night.

The Living Hut is another gorgeous space to soak up the simple pleasures of living small. With red, white and green tones throughout, this hut is the perfect place to enjoy your meals. Bring forth those fire skills using your wood burning oven to cook a heart-warming feast. Sit yourselves at your dining table for meals, reading or playing games or take in the views from outside to truly enjoy this special rural setting.

Our Washroom Hut is a few steps away offering all facilities you need. A warm shower, sink, WC and space to change if needed. It also offers a chance to peak at the stars if you need that middle of the night use of the facilities 🙂

To top your atmospheric stay, you also have a huge kadai fire bowl. Take in the mesmerising power of an open fire. Simply sit and connect. These huts truly take you back to the enjoy the best parts of nature, whilst also providing you with those lovely indulgences too.

The Huts sleep 2 adults comfortably plus up to 2 children using the mattresses from the dining seats in the living hut. Or please enquire about pitching a tent alongside for any extras. We look forward to welcoming you to this new addition at Redford Farm Holidays.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
