Ludlow Farmshop

Ludlow Farmshop – a one-of-a-kind shopping environment where farming, passion for great food and retail come together to create an award-winning experience.

Farming is at the very heart of what we do. Our farm shop is located two miles from the beautiful town of Ludlow and produces many of its award-winning products from the bountiful supply of wonderful produce both from the farm and surrounding area. We traditionally rear Hereford and Limousin beef cattle along with Shropshire lamb (a mix of five breeds) all of which are used across the farm shop site in our butchery and restaurants. Free range high welfare pork and poultry are sourced locally along with venison and game. Seasonal vegetables are supplied to the shop from the walled garden nearby and a state-of-the-art robotic dairy provides the milk we use when making our cheese and yogurt.

You can buy from us, eat with us and stay with us – it’s really up to you!

Ludlow Kitchen

Our on-site café has a light, spacious and airy environment and a talented and passionate team dedicated to creating great food dishes using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients.

Much of what we use comes directly from Ludlow Farmshop who supply fresh cakes, biscuits, artisan cheeses, handmade butter, our own farm-reared meat, savouries and seasonal preserves. We also use a selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables from Lady Plymouth’s walled garden – all grown less than 1 mile away.

Open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
