Ludlow Food Festival

 THE ORIGINAL FESTIVAL FOR FOOD AND DRINK LOVERS

Friday 8th, Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September 2023

Ludlow Castle, Ludlow, Shropshire

Visitors to this year’s Ludlow Food Festival on 8th – 10th September can expect a bumper weekend celebrating the best of the Marches’ food and drink in the iconic walls of Ludlow Castle.

The richness of the region’s food heritage is epitomised in this three-day extravaganza that celebrates the best growers, producers, chefs, food writers and more. With a broad and exciting range of exhibitors to explore, visitors can stock up on their favourites as well as tasting new and delicious food. In a time when provenance is everything, take this opportunity to discover the stories behind the food as we champion British producers at their best.

There will be free and live cookery demonstrations from a range of top chefs, writers and producers across three stages, including;

  • Locally grown and now internationally acclaimed Masterchef The Professionals finalist Oliva Burt
  • Chefs and restauranteurs Cyrus and Pervin Todiwala
  • Honey & Co’s Sarit Packer and Itamar Srulovich
  • Writer, chef and seafood specialist Mike Warner
  • Great British Chef and owner of Dockett 33 Stuart Collins
  • Masterchef The Professionals finalists Louisa Ellis
  • Penson Restaurant’s award-winning head chef Chris Simpson
  • Masterchef The Professionals finalist and head chef at Old Downton Lodge Nick Bennett
  • Worcestershire-based food blogger and internet sensation Sarah Rossi aka ‘Taming Twins’

There will also be hands-on workshops, trails and children’s activities throughout the weekend – keep an eye on our website as more details are released.

The hugely popular Fire Kitchen Stage returns to Ludlow Castle’s Inner Bailey. A whole host of local and international chefs will be firing up audiences with live demonstrations, with names such as Karan Gokani of Hoppers, London and fire chef Julian Brown. They’ll wow festival-goers with a blend fire, food and fun on stage, with Christian Stevenson, aka DJ BBQ, as host/compere.

Visitors will be able to enjoy late night street food, live DJ sets and a spectacular Fire Feast – where top fire chefs prepare and serve an epic banquet. Tickets for these events will be available later in the summer on our website.
