Llangollen Castell Dinas Bran and Snowdrops Winter Walk

Join us for a scenic winter adventure through one of Wales’ most breathtaking landscapes! This guided walk explores the historic Castell Dinas Brân, the serene Horseshoe Falls, and the enchanting snowdrop-filled grounds of St Tysilio’s Church, with sweeping views of the Dee Valley throughout.

This 12.5 km circular route takes us along muddy, grassy, and uneven footpaths, offering a mix of history, nature, and panoramic vistas. We’ll also pass Valle Crucis Abbey and end back in Llangollen, where you can enjoy the town’s charming cafes, shops, and pubs.

  • Horseshoe Falls: The tranquil spot where the canal meets the River Dee.
