Natrio Trio

This recently formed ensemble aims to showcase the varied and dynamic repertoire for trumpet trio. Will Thomas, Joe Skypala, and Nick Budd play both modern and natural trumpets and together won the Brass Ensemble Musicians’ Company prize at the Royal Academy of Music. The first half of their concert will feature works by Tomasi and Britten written specifically for trumpet trio. The second half will consist of their own arrangements ranging from 17th century ceremonial fanfare through Bach, Debussy, and Ellington, to contemporary pieces.
