This beautiful exhibition tells the story of The Mount and its gardens (Charles Darwin’s boyhood home), through a series of never-before-seen photographs dating from the late Victorian era.
The photographs were recently discovered in an album containing around 50 images, at Shropshire Archives. The exhibition features a short film which shows a glimpse into Darwin’s early life and how his Shrewsbury home would have looked at the time.
