Now in its 13th year, this week-long festival showcases Wellington and its surrounding area. Thirty varied walking events, ranging from short strolls and visits to full day hikes. This year’s contribution to the national Heritage Open Days will be a tour conducted by Marc Petty of Wellington LA21 based on the LA21 ‘Walking with Giants’ project.
Among the new events this year are a walk in the Rodington area visiting 3 Churches and looking at the canal heritage, and the chance to try out several of the new Telford Coronation Walks.
