2 Bedroomed stylish modern apartment

My home is situated in a Grade II listed Tudor building overlooking Shrewsbury’s historic 11th Century Abbey, this unique timber-framed apartment is the perfect springboard to relax and experience everything Shrewsbury has to offer.

The property is just 5 5-minute walk across the English Bridge into the historic town centre, where you can discover beautiful river walks, an eclectic range of independent shops, as well as both contemporary and traditional destinations to eat, drink and unwind.

About this space
This wonderful apartment, in a Grade II listed Tudor building overlooking Shrewsbury’s historic 11th Century Abbey, has a unique timber-framed vaulted ceiling. And in a superb location to relax and experience the local sights, sounds and tastes of Shropshire.

10 minutes’ walk across the English Bridge takes you into the historic town centre, where you will discover beautiful river walks, a range of independent artisan shops, contemporary and traditional destinations to eat, drink and unwind.

Sympathetically renovated, the apartment offers spacious and mindfully planned accommodation throughout, from the super king bed in the master bedroom, to the generously proportioned yet cosy space found under the vaulted eves of the chic open-plan living/dining area with a fully equipped kitchen.

The apartment is set on one level with a note to guests that it is reached by a relatively steep small flight of stairs. There are 3 easy level stairs to the main bedroom, same level 2nd double bedroom across the landing, and one step down to the sitting room where you have a large flat screen TV, dining table for 4 people and a large corner sofa to relax on after a day exploring.

There is a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath, toilet and sink.
Toiletries are included with fresh linen and towels for all guests.

Other things to note
Travel cot and high chair are available for hire on request £25 for the two.

Strictly no parties / stag or hen events, and no smoking or vaping in the property due to fire regulations.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
