Weston Park

Enjoy the great outdoors at Weston Park.

With 1,000 acres of wonderful to explore, the adventures across our estate are endless. Enjoy woodland walks, soak up the fresh air and take in the breath-taking views across the estate. At Weston, we don’t do out of bounds, so bring the dog, the bikes and a picnic and enjoy your day, your way.

The Woodland Adventure Playground

The Woodland Adventure Playground is a firm family favourite, perfect for a day of adventure. Zoom down the slide, reach for the sky on our trampolines, and fly through the trees on one of the countries longest double zip wires.

The Granary Restaurant and The Granary Cafe

The Granary Restaurant is perfect to start your day with breakfast or relax for light lunch. Head Chef, Anna Moore and her talented brigade of chefs serve delicious homemade dishes daily, using fresh ingredients from The Walled Garden meaning your food goes straight from estate to plate.

The Granary Café will also be open throughout our summer season, serving fresh baguettes, homemade cakes, pastries, and coffees.

The House and The Rose Patterson Art Gallery

The House at Weston Park is home to magnificent and beautifully designed rooms, a world-famous collection of paintings and a rich family history. The House is open Sunday, Monday and Tuesday throughout our summer season.

The Rose Paterson Art Gallery displays new and exciting exhibitions each month, with many works on sale. The Gallery is open from 11am- 4pm and is free to enter.

The Weston Park Foundation

Weston Park is owned by the Weston Park Foundation, an independent charitable trust. Every penny we make keeps history alive, maintaining, restoring, and conserving the estate for future generations.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
