Interactive Biodiversity and Climate Change Talk at Fordhall Organic Farm

It is now widely recognised that climate change and biodiversity are interconnected. Biodiversity is affected by climate change, with negative consequences for human well-being, but biodiversity, through the ecosystem services it supports, also makes an important contribution to both climate-change mitigation and adaptation.

This interactive talk will introduce climate change, causes and effects but will mainly focus on mitigation and the important role of nature based solutions and biodiversity in reversing climate change. Open to all ages, please bring a smart phone to take part in the interactive parts of the talk.

Arrivals from 6.30pm for 7.00pm start and talk is being hosted in the Foggage room(upstairs above the café, accessible by lift) Please advise upon booking if you have accessibility needs.

£5.00pp including light refreshments, further donations to support the work of Fordhall Community Land Initiative welcomed.
