Morning Meet is welcoming WVVW Wolverhampton Volkswagen Owners Club

Look who is joining us for our bi-monthly morning meet

WVVW is a Wolverhampton based Volkswagen Owners Club that was established in 2019. Originally expected to attract a few members for local get togethers, the group now has over 4,000 members from across the UK and beyond. We are a family friendly group that welcomes Volkswagens old and new, air and water cooled, cars and campers; In fact, you don’t even need to own a Volkswagen to be greeted with open arms and friendly faces. We hold regular meets attracting 100+ dubs as well as taking over whole campsites for weekends at a time. This year, we are also hosting our own little show called Dubs at the Bush and hope it is something we can make bigger and better in years to come. We support a charity called When You Wish Upon a Star which makes dreams come true for children with life threatening illnesses and are always looking at fun new ways to combine our love for Volkswagens with helping others.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
