February half term is fast-approaching, so much so, that most may not have had the chance to give a second thought as to how to entertain the whole family during this little break.

Stuck on what to do with the kids? Luckily Shrewsbury Prison has done all the organising for you by coming up with a fantastic solution to a stress-free family packed break for all ages to enjoy during this uncertain financial time.

Family Self-Guided Tour

 

Self-Guided Tours are an ideal day out for families who would like to investigate at their own pace.

Your family will be given a visitor guide and map, and you can use the audio boxes to learn and teach your children the facts and history as you explore the prison. The information boards add a fascinating background detail to your visit, with staff always available to point you in the right direction and answer any questions you may have. Multiple ‘CELL’fie points are available throughout the site to capture those special memories shared with loved ones.

And the best part? Kids Go FREE with their superb promotional offer, saving £10 per child!

 

Delicious treats in the prison restaurant

 

During February half term, every child meal is FREE when purchased with an adult meal with their ‘Kids Eat Free’ promotion (T&Cs apply).

Offering a wide range of snacks, light bites, hot meals, children’s menu and hot and cold drinks. Plus popular homemade cakes are freshly prepared in the on-site kitchen, so why not treat yourself as part of your visit?

‘Kids Go Free’ and ‘Kids Eat Free’ promotions are available to be used in conjunction with one another, really adding the best value to your visit behind the walls of the atmospheric prison building.
