Join us for an unforgettable experience as we gather take to the water to witness the breathtaking sunset on the eve of the Spring Equinox.

From 5pm-7pm (sunset expected at 6:25pm) we will be welcoming you to enjoy a swim whilst the sun sets.

Lakeside Kitchen will be open for food and drinks to enjoy after a relaxing sunset swim.

Tow floats are mandatory and if possible we’d love you to pop fairy lights inside of them! We have tow floats available to purchase if you do not already have your own.

Please note the water can still be relatively cold at this time of year. Please prepare where necessary and ensure you are confident swimming in colder temperatures. Please do not book a ticket if you have not swam in cold waters before. There will be lifeguards onsite during this event.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
