Stargazing from Coalbrookdale

Discover the wonders of the universe at this spectacular stargazing experience in Coalbrookdale.

Learn about astronomy and the use of telescopes to identify celestial objects. Then have the opportunity to see the hidden wonders of the night sky for yourself.

Inspired by the theme of our upcoming temporary exhibition, this event will be led by stargazing experts from the Wolverhampton Astronomical Society and is suitable for both adults and children.

Timings: From 7pm until 10pm

Date: Saturday 13 April

Location: The Green, Coalbrookdale (opposite The Old Furnace)

£3 per person. Tickets must be pre-booked.

Event attendees are advised to dress according to the weather and the nature of the activity.

Please note, if the weather is unsuitable on the day, the telescopes will be set up in the Covered Bays and Wolverhampton Astronomical Society Members will deliver a talk instead.

Free parking for PASS PLUS holders and Friends does not apply for this event. Specific event parking required.
