Whitchurch Christmas Light Switch On!

Join in with the festivities as we countdown to Christmas for the official Whitchurch’s Light Switch On Saturday 26th November 2022. Jam packed with entertainment including a wonderful Victorian organ, Rotarys Santa’s Grotto and Christmas Markets, there is a little something for everyone.
Take a stroll around the Indoor Christmas Markets over at the Civic Centre, visit the historical St Alkmund’s annual Nativity Festival or enjoy a shopping experience like no other with Whitchurchs unique independent shops and eateries.
Throughout the day they’ll be live music performances and children’s entertainment including carol singing, panto characters and fairground rides. Finished with the ever-popular magical Lantern Parade that starts at the top of Green End and finishes at the Civic Centre for the Switch On and pyrotechnics display.
