The space
As you enter the house, you’ll walk into a cosy living room space featuring a wood-burning stove, set into a beautifully crafted fireplace.
Light the stove (bring your own logs please!) and curl up in front of the TV from the large comfortable sofa, or our fashionable wing-back chair.
The Panasonic TV has Netflix and other channels (with the exception of Freeview).
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern amenities and appliances to cater for your needs. We have an electric Samsung oven and an induction hob plus a microwave, washing machine and dishwasher, and Krups coffee machine, surrounding you with all the homely things that will make your stay remember able (and want to return).
We have provided all the cooking utensils you should need, along with contemporary tableware, wine and water glasses and cutlery.
We have a breakfast / dining table with 2 chairs and 2 comfortable stools for 4 guests to relax, enjoy food and a drink or two.
A door from this leads you to a stunning bathroom with Victorian tiled floor, metro-style tiles with charcoal grouting for a clean finish.
Relax in our thermostatic shower with traditional chrome shower head, or indulge in a lovely hot bath after a day exploring.
Head upstairs to find two beautifully appointed bedrooms on the first floor.
Please be advised that the stairs are quite steep, as normally found in Victorian houses, however there is a wooden handrail on the right.
Both bedrooms floors have been polished with a deep timber oil, and we have one bedroom with a luxurious black and antique brass king-size bed and built-in wardrobe, while the second bedroom features a similar traditional frame presented as a cosy double with space to hang clothes.
Both rooms are elegantly decorated and offer a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring the charming streets of Shrewsbury.
Outside space
Step outside into the grassed rear garden, where you’ll find a patio area complete with a table and chairs to enjoy a BBQ in the summer then disappear inside after drinks in front of the log burner. The perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or dine alfresco while soaking up the sunshine.
Located in the desirable Castlefields neighbourhood of Shrewsbury, our property is within easy reach of local amenities and attractions. A 10 minute walk into Shrewsbury Centre from here, explore the vibrant medieval, historic town, visit the artisan shops and boutiques, many restaurants, coffee establishments and local pubs, or take a leisurely stroll along the picturesque River Severn into the beautiful town park, The Quarry.
We look forward to welcoming you, where comfort, style, and convenience await. Book your stay with us today and create lasting memories in beautiful Shrewsbury.

Embark on an extraordinary half-term adventure at the enchanting Hawkstone Park Follies! 🌲✨
This hidden gem invites you to explore a sprawling landscape filled with magical surprises. Hawskstone Park Follies are offering 50% off general admission from February 9th to 18th, making it the perfect opportunity to uncover the mysteries that await.
Set in 100 acres of Parkland The Follies is a range of dramatic and rugged natural sandstone hills that were developed to include gullies, caves, towers and bridges, becoming one of the most visited landscapes in Britain during the 19th Century. However, throughout the 20th Century this romantic landscape became forgotten, overgrown and ruinous, unvisited by all but the locals.
Now recognised as a Masterpiece of the School of Naturalistic Landscape and designated as a Grade I listed landscape by English Heritage, this magical and exhilarating landscape had a new lease of life with a multi-million pound restoration project enabling it to reopen to visitors in 1993. Overgrown but never fully forgotten, pathways were cleared, gullies reopened and handrails reinstalled to allow visitors to enjoy the spectacular views and surprises that The Follies reveals around every corner.
Friends of the Follies can also enjoy special annual pass upgrade offers available at the gate, ensuring that the magic doesn`t end after one visit!
