Art Deco inspired apartment with roof top views

Step back in time and enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-locate 1 bedroom Art Deco-inspired design apartment. Combining modern styles with fine luxury, glamour, and bright colours to create a sleek and elegance that symbolized sophistication.

When you step out of the apartment you are in the heart of Shrewsbury a popular destination for it’s history and vibrant town centre and is within walking distance of The Quarry, Shrewsbury Castle or Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery or many bars.

The space
The apartment is fully equipped with kitchen, living dinning area and double bedroom with wardrobe space.

Guest access
There is no parking at the apartment, although you can pull in and unload. Although there are plenty of car parks around the town There is a lift that will take you up to the third floor, where the apartment is located. Come out of the lift and turn right, through the door on the left and the apartment is located in front of you.

Other things to note
Our property is professionally cleaned and is set up to be remote access, ensuring there is no direct contact with anyone needed. The linen and towels are removed from the property after each stay and replaced with freshly laundered supplies. We also provide single-use and individual items such as shampoo and shower gel.

Supermarkets
We have a Tesco express and M&S Foodhall, 5-minute walk from the apartment. For bigger supermarkets, we have a Tesco, Morrisons Aldi, and Lidle about 10 minutes in the car In the opposite direction, again a 10-minute drive is Sainsbury’s and a large M&S Food Hall.

Local Restaurants
Right on the doorstep is The Loopy Shrew, which is nice. For more fine dining we would recommend The Walrus or Lion and Pheasant or Hencote has a beautiful view over the town, this is a short drive out of the town. Italian – La Dolce Vita or Osteria Da Paolo. For a good curry The Curry House or Avatar. Pizza – Dough & Oil. The Istanbul Restaurant has a wide selection of charcoal grills. The Olive Tree or Casa Naranjo for Tapas. House of the Rising Sun and The Armoury is always firm favourites, along with Cote. And not forgetting The Boat House, which has a great outdoor space and overlooks the river. Number Four does a great brunch. We also like Hickory’s and have a Nando’s and a Harvester near the cinema. Or Ginger & Co, where you can watch the world go by. Don’t forget to check out the local Market Hall, where you can eat, drink and shop for local produce.

Local Attractions
The apartment is located right in the centre of the historic town of Shrewsbury. Shrewsbury has a whooping 800 listed building from the 16th and 17th centuries. Unfortunately in the 1960s, some historic buildings were demolished to make way for a very different architectural style and I am sure you will spot these buildings. Just remember when you are walking around to look up. A walk past the train station, castle, and old library building is worth seeing. Turn left out of the apartment and a 3-minute walk will bring you to the Quarry Park which is a beautiful 29-acre parkland providing the perfect place to relax, enjoy walks, picnic, or play a game of ball with the family. At the heart of the Quarry lies the Dingle, a floral masterpiece cultivated by world-renowned gardener Percy Thrower, who served as Parks Superintendent for 28 years. It’s a delightful sunken garden landscaped with alpine borders, shrubbery, and charming water features that is worth a wander around. We also hold many festivals in the Quarry, check to see what is on. www.visitshropshire.co.uk www.originalshrewsbury.co.uk. Down from The Quarry, we have the Sabrina Boat, which runs river cruises between March and October. https://sabrinaboat.co.uk. We have a multi-plex cinema if you fancy checking out the latest blockbuster and The Theater Severn www.theatresevern.co.uk. Shrewsbury Prison is worth a visit and has featured on many TV series. Best to get out there and explore.

"🏰✨ Dive into the heart of Shrewsbury's Castle Quarter – the epicenter of history and grandeur! 🏰 Home to four of the town's largest historic treasures – Shrewsbury Castle, Library, Prison, and Train Station.

Did you know Shrewsbury Castle's foundations were laid in 1083 by the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury, Roger de Montgomery?
Montgomery, a cousin of William the Conqueror, earned this castle and more as a thank-you for his aid during the Norman conquest.

From royal stronghold to a 16th-century transformation, Shrewsbury Castle has quite the story. Now, it stands majestically, housing the Shropshire Regimental Museum. 👑🏰 Ready to step into the pages of history?
