To celebrate British Science Week Blists Hill Victorian Town would like to invite you to a very special celebration of Victorian Science.
For two days only Blists Hill will host the 1904 Nobel Prize of Sir William Ramsay, on display to the public for the first time outside of London.
Practical science demonstrations will run throughout the three days, including by Professor Andrea Sella, Broadcaster and Chemistry Professor at UCL and winner of the Royal Society of London Michael Faraday Prize.
The visceral chemistry demonstrations will focus on Ramsay’s world changing discoveries.
Step back in time to Blists Hill Victorian Town and learn about a great Victorian discovery that shaped the world we live in today, and inspire your own budding chemists to help shape the future.
Suitable for all ages, museum admission required but there is no need to book.
